General ICU (A and B)


ICU is located on the eastern and western sides of the seventh floor in two departments, A and B, with 16 active beds. In each department, there are 8 active beds in separate rooms. The rooms are equipped with monitor, wavy mattress, pulse oximetry, and other required equipment for ICU.

The range of inpatient and outpatient referrals

All patients with various diagnosed diseases from different departments including neurology, renal, internal medicine, general surgery, gynecological surgery, pregnant women, rheumatology, orthopedics, urology, and infectious diseases such Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, convulsion, stroke, thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, thrombocytosis, multiple sclerosis and neurosurgery are hospitalized in the general ICU.

Transferring patients from ICU to wards

After improving patients' neurological and respiratory conditions, they are transferred to different wards according to their underlying diseases at the discretion of their treating physician. We inform patients' attendants about transferring their patients to the wards through a phone call and explain the aim and time of the transfer as well as their recovery process.


This department is equipped with ICU equipment including beds with a lever to change position, wavy mattress, pulse oximetry, blood pumps, syringe pumps, ventilators, central monitoring, radiological portable defibrillator, ECG machine, central and portable suction, ophthalmoscope, otoscope, glucometers, thermometers, and nebulizers, which all help improve patients' health status.
